Las Vegas, NV - March 6, 2010 –- SOLiD Technologies, USA today announced completion and commissioning of a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at Green Valley Ranch resort in Henderson, Nevada. Green Valley Ranch is part of the Station Casinos family of entertainment destinations. SOLiD VAR, TriPower designed, integrated and commissioned a DAS system providing coverage to 500,000 square feet of this resort/casino complex. The DAS system supports a large number of services including 700 and 800MHz public safety, all cellular services as well as an integrated WiFi system. Currently, AT&T, Cricket, Sprint and Verizon are operating flawlessly on the system and have gained operational approval for the local public safety organizations.
“Overall the SOLiD DAS has saved Station Casinos a lot of money, due to superior design, the signal power at the remote and the unique filtering of the head-end and remotes”, said Barry Cormier, Director of IT Support Services for Station Casinos. “Consequently, the installation was quick and when the final numbers came in, we were under budget on the project. We expect a ROI on this project in less than two years.”
